We were told that only a small supermarket would be open this late on a Saturday, and walked fearfully to the center of Keflavik with growling stomachs. What if they'd only sell fish? But to our great relief we discovered a broad variety of fruit, bread and granola, and the evening (as well as tomorrow morning) was saved.
