Stones on stones

A very beautiful and strange place on an otherwise boringly straight and monotonous road. Travelers stop here to add a stone to one of the piles for good luck, at the site of a large farm destroyed in a volcanid eruption in the 9th century.

  1. I remember that stone field from my trip. A surreal place!
