Hanging out in the pool

Yes, it was 15 degrees, raining and windy outside, and we were a bit cold from biking without our Gore-Tex pants on. But this wonderful hot pot by the outside pool in the center of Hvolsvöllur was heated by geothermal energy up to the very agreeable temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. (A note to our American readers: That's just a bit above normal human body temperature.) We both swore to never leave the hot pot, but eventually we had to because the pool closed for the night.
